Manitoba invites 602 candidates in major PNP draw

Manitoba invited 602 Immigrants to apply for the provincial promotion on September 2.

Invited candidates have a chance of getting a nomination from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. Once the candidate receives their documentation, the nomination can support you with your application for Canadian permanent residence, and also you will be able to apply as a Provincial Nominee Program candidate.  

The results of the latest draw are as follows:

  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba— 463 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 445;
  • Skilled Workers Overseas— 84 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 698; and
  • International Education Stream — 55 invitations with no EOI score requirement.

101 invitations, which are commonly known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs), were received by Express Entry candidates. 

Express Entry is referred to the management system for permanent residency. The applications are divided into three categories they are as followed: The Canadian Experience Class, The Federal Skilled Worker Program, and the Federal Skilled Trades  Program

It is possible to skirt the PNP process and receive a permanent residence invitation by straightforwardly applying through Express Entry. However, having a provincial nomination viably ensures that Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada will invite you to apply for a Canadian permanent residency, given the 600-point grant.

Manitoba immigration programs

Canadian Provinces don’t poses the ability to give out permanent residency but the provinces can help its candidates by helping them in issuing provincial nominations. 

If you want to avail the the nomination from Manitoba, then you will need to register for an Expression of Interest with the MPNP. this will put you into a position where you receive an LAA through the Skilled Workers in Manitoba and Skilled Workers Overseas programs.
